Join me in this one time class where I will read If You Give a Cat a Cupcake by Laura Numeroff, while your child will be encouraged to read the repetitive phrases along with me! Before reading, we will discuss the parts of a book. Students will describe elements in a story, for example, characters and/or setting. Next we will practice rhyming words while students follow along with a cut and paste printout that I will send out before class. Rhyming words will help your child learn to remember words. Hello Friends! I am so excited to have you in my class. I love to teach a whole bunch of different topics such as phonemic awareness, reading comprehension and fluency, history, and makeup.
