In each ongoing, weekly 25-minute class, we will explore one or two special video editing techniques that you can apply to the videos you're creating. Students will have the chance to request specific topics they'd like to learn and will also be able to share previous video editing work that has been preapproved by the teacher. These ongoing classes are independent of each other, meaning students can enroll and attend any class based on their availability. If your learner has no editing experience, there will be a short pre recorded video showing the process of uploading a video and demonstrating three of the most basic editing tools. This video will be available in the welcome message once you enroll in the class. Below are the editing tips, tricks, and tools that will be covered in this ongoing class. My classes are always evolving, and I periodically add new material to stay current with updates to the editing program. CapCut is free to download and use. You will notice that there will be a logo at the end of the video with the program. Most students do not mind this. STUDENTS DO NOT NEED TO HAVE THE PAID VERSION OF CAPCUT TO ATTEND THIS CLASS. I look forward to seeing you in class!

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Video editing is a self-taught skill that I have acquired and enjoyed for the past 6+ years. I started editing tutorial videos for other teachers, then I editing fun family videos, and now for the past 4+ years, I have increased my editing skills enough to be able to teach it here on the Outschool platform. Before I was an online teacher, I was a teacher in a brick and mortar school and taught all age groups in the public school system. The majority of my school experience was in special need classrooms, so I am comfortable with all ranges and abilities of learners.
