Campamento - Tiempo para la bondad amorosa, la relajación y la atención plena 1:1

El alumno disfruta de cinco clases para cultivar el bienestar personal mediante la participación en respiración consciente y relajante, yoga de la risa, meditación pacífica del corazón, dos hermosos momentos de cuentos sobre la armonía y la bondad amorosa, y afirmaciones empoderadoras.

Important Notes:  All of my classes are inclusive; can be taught at different age levels, in English or Spanish; and are suitable for the neurodiverse child. 
CEFR:  B1-B2 and above.  

In this wellness camp (which may be taken any time, parent may just submit a class request), Learner will be introduced to well-proven mindfulness techniques known to cultivate, increase and support wellbeing at all levels, as well as help develop self awareness and stress management skills.

First class:  Younger Learner:  Mindful reading time with Corduroy, learning to be thoughtful and kind, ending with butterfly hugs, humming bee breath and a loving kindness affirmation; older Learner:  Mindful reading/class discussion about Kindness; ending with butterfly hugs, humming bee breath and a loving kindness affirmation, adjusting level to learner's age;

Second class:  Laughter Yoga, a technique known to be not only fun and uplifting, but health-smart, ending with a joy affirmation.  This class entails physical movements as in Yoga, thus learner should be cleared by their physician to participate;

Third class: Mindful Breathing Exercises such as the deeply calming hissing breath, ending with a peace affirmation adjusting level to learner's age;

Fourth class: Mindful reading time with The Giving Tree; for older Learner:  analyze story time to find balance in learning to be generous in giving to self and others, as well as in receiving, setting healthy boundaries; ending with a harmony affirmation;

Fifth class: Peaceful Heart Meditation, ending with the love and light affirmation.   Final Q&A.

Throughout these classes, teaching style will be inclusive, kind, and mindful of the Learner's needs, honoring  students where they are at the present moment.   Class material will be adjusted to learner's age and maturity.  Class is interactive and practice based.  

No previous experience is needed, and no  physical flexibility is required.

Depending on Learner's age and/or interaction, class may run a bit longer, thus parent may want to plan additional free time so Learner may fully enjoy the class without feeling rushed.
