Musicality is a dancer's ability to hear, interpret, and dance to all elements of a song. We started with the drums, now we'll explore the different types of common/recurring melodies so we can learn how to hear and use them when we freestyle. This class will help students identify the common elements of musicality in music. The teacher will also challenge the students with new moves and patterns. Students will play music themed games to train adn test their musicality :-)

Orientación para padres
My "Outschool Breakdance" Spotify playlist is an external resource available for all students. You'll need to create a basic account to access it for free (on shuffle mode) or a paid account to select specific songs from the list. Music is a mix of hip-hop and funk, but has been screened for appropriate lyrics.
Wrist warm-ups/exercises will be required for learning/practicing the bottomrock moves. It is also advisable that students should wear comfortable shoes (sneakers) and clothes for dancing (not oversized). As well, students should have a clear open space for dancing and a distance from the computer that allows me to see them from head to toe in order to ensure they're doing the moves properly. A water bottle is also required for brief breaks.
Requisitos previos
Returning students should have completed the first 3 camps (Foundations, Arsenal, and Cypher Camp)
Newer students must demonstrate an arsenal with 4 moves minimum for each category (Toprock, go-down, footwork, freezes).
