Club de lectura: lo mejor de la literatura distópica juvenil

If your learner is in love with dystopian literature, and enjoys interacting and socializing with other book lovers, then this is the class for them! We will be reading series such as, "The Giver Quartet," "The Hunger Games Trilogy," and other of the most popular young adult dystopian novels from the past few decades. We will be reading over 20 books in all! 
Learners will read the novels at home, and come ready to have lively, guided,  group discussions with their peers once every other week.  We spend two weeks on each book, so that learners have enough to time to read at home between classes, so the class will meet once every two weeks to give them adequate time to read. You will only be charged for the weeks that we meet (so every other week). The course is designed to go through four of most popular Dystopian Young Adult series, "The Giver Quartet," "The Maze Runner Series," "The Hunger Games Series," and, "The Divergent Trilogy." 
This is an ongoing class that spans multiple months in which students can join or leave at anytime. Ongoing classes are amazing for book clubs because they allow students the time to really get to know their peers which aids in rich discussion and interaction during class. 
Every two weeks, students will read  the current dystopian young adult novel and come to class prepared for discussions and activities related to the assigned reading.
