Club de lectura: Stargirl

We will discuss the novel together over the course of 3 weeks and 6 classes. Each class will focus on a chunk of chapters. Class #1-prologue to chapter 7, class#2-chapter 8-chapter 14, class#3 chapter 15-20, class #4 chapter 21-26, class #5 chapter 27-epilogue and class #8 will be a wrap up or a catch up on anything that we could not get to in classes #1-5. For each chunk of chapters, we will analyze the characters and their motivations, figurative language relative to the understanding of the plot, actions that drive the plot and important vocabulary. Students must have each chunk of chapters read BEFORE the assigned class in order to effectively participate in the class discussions. I will use PowerPoint and Nearpod to share information with learners.
