I am excited to invite your child to participate in a fun and engaging class centered on Dog Man, the beloved graphic novel series by Dav Pilkey. This class is designed to strengthen your child's reading comprehension skills while fostering a love for storytelling and creativity.

Using the Dog Man series, in this 1x per week class, we will explore key reading strategies such as understanding main ideas, analyzing characters, identifying themes, and making inferences. Through guided discussions, interactive activities, and writing responses, your child will develop critical thinking skills and a deeper appreciation for reading. We will even incorporate a little art and creativity!

My goal is to make learning both educational and enjoyable by combining the humor and creativity of Dog Man with techniques to build lifelong literacy skills. We look forward to partnering with you in supporting your child's reading journey!

**You may join anytime after the course has started, just have your child read up to the point we are at in the syllabus. 

**While this class does have an end date, we will continue on in the next book after this first section.
