This course is best suited for pre-teens who are:
👍Fascinated by how the body works
👍Need an introduction or review of human anatomy
👍Need a science credit that is fun and engaging
👍Looking ahead to high school courses related to health science 

Classes are led by an expert guide:
👍A chiropractor and acupuncturist who loves anatomy
👍A veteran teacher with over 20 years experience at the college and high school level 

🌟𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙀𝙍𝙎 𝘾𝘼𝙉 𝙅𝙐𝙈𝙋 𝙄𝙉 𝘼𝙏 𝘼𝙉𝙔 𝙏𝙄𝙈𝙀!  🌟
Each class is independent of the others, and no prior experience in anatomy or science is required. This introductory-level series is designed like a full-semester course but offers the flexibility and convenience of ongoing enrollment. Classes meet once per week, with each session focusing on a different organ system. We will explore the anatomy (structure), function (physiology), and related pathology (disease) of each system.  𝙏𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚/𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀
Classes are interactive lessons using Nearpod.com.  A code will be provided at the beginning of class.  Learners will engage in hands-on labeling activities, drawing, quizzes and games.  An optional study guide will be available to help learners follow along during class. 

𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬
⭐  As per Outschool policy, 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬-𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘸𝘦𝘣𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘴.  I encourage webcams to stay on during class, but it is not mandatory.  
⭐ If a learner needs to miss a class, please let me know in advance.  Learners who miss a class have access to class material and recordings.  Transfers or refunds for the week are an option.
