During this live, one-time class, we will read a Bluey story and dance to Bluey music! We will begin by getting to know each other a bit then read "Bluey: Grannies" by Bluey. We will then stand up for a quick fun warmup to the Bluey Theme Song! After warming up, we will dance to three different songs from the show: 1. Who Likes to Dance? - We will learn simple Line Dancing! 2. Here Come the Grannies - We will practice flossing and pretend to be driving like Bluey & Bingo do! 3. Taxi - We will dance to a fun upbeat song! Learners will be sent activity pages following our class together!

With any exercise class, it is important to make sure that the learners have adequate amount of space, that they are wearing comfortable clothing, and that they have a water bottle nearby. If there are any previous injuries that could prohibit safe dancing, the instructor must be informed.

I teach Movement classes in studio and online as well! I have been teaching dance for 15+ years to all ages (18months - adult) as well as Fitness classes to kids and adults. Dance has been a major part of my life for 32 years and I love bringing that passion to others. I've worked with young and old, special needs, low-impact or injured, wheel-chair bound, and all others!
I believe that Dance/Movement is a rare "sport" that is all-inclusive; gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, emotionally stimulating, builds self-confidence, improves discipline & listening skills, and much more.
My family consists of my super supportive husband, my oldest daughter (8) youngest daughter (6), and then the littlest one is 3years old, but he was born 3-1/2 months early. We spent a significant amount of time in the NICU in the city we live in and are forever grateful for modern medicine! Our life has been a rollercoaster and, as crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't have it any other way... mostly. haha!
Being a mama myself, I try to be flexible with my schedule and appreciate the understanding from parents as I navigate our medically complex son's needs as well as two active girls!
I offer discounts to siblings, love to work with groups that want to dance together online, and I am always willing to work with you on group discounts, multi-class discounts, and one-on-one private lessons!
