In this 8-week course, we will cover business plans, budgets, capital, and product development. Your student will run their own business, therefore there will be some assignments outside of class. This small group class is interactive and individualized using games, slides, videos, and discussion in each session.

What is an entrepreneur?
Define entrepreneurship. Review famous entrepreneurs and kid inventors. We'll also discuss their favorite products and retailers as we start to get a sense of what it takes to be an entrepreneur. 55 minutos de lección en vivo en línea
Lección 2:
Big Ideas and Plans
Students map out problems in the consumer world and products that address those problems. This is how most businesses are born! Then we shift to ideas for their own businesses and begin creating business plans. Students will research raw materials and capital needs for homework. 55 minutos de lección en vivo en línea
Lección 3:
Presenting and Improving Ideas
Student presents their business plans to each other, including products, costs, advisors, marketing plans, and capital needs. Students will give each other feedback similar to a test or focus group. 55 minutos de lección en vivo en línea
Lección 4:
Banking Game
Each student is assigned a role in a variety of banking scenarios. This teaches students to open a bank account, apply for a business loan, and pay bills and taxes. 55 minutos de lección en vivo en línea
