Hi! I am Denise, the owner of Future Vet & Animal Science Academy. I have been a certified veterinary technician for more than 30 years in a mixed animal practice that also sees exotics and injured wildlife. I have a MEd from Colorado State University and a Master of Veterinary Education (MVEd) from Lincoln Memorial University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. I have been teaching at local colleges and universities in veterinary Assistant Programs, an Equine Studies program and a variety of Veterinary Science programs for grades 3-5, 6-8, and high school. Along with all that I am also a homeschool mom! At home, my family has 3 mini horses, a Paint horse, 4 Nigerian dwarf goats, 4 chickens and 2 indoor kitties! I am passionate about sharing my experience and love for animals and veterinary medicine with others!

Generally the reading will be about one chapter / 10-15 pages. Videos will also be provided for additional learning and observation of the skills or topic discussed each week.
