Join us as we travel to tropical rainforests and learn all about them! In this 5-day camp we will explore different layers of a tropical rainforest each day, through interactive and fun presentations that will include pictures and videos. What makes this class unique? Learn about tropical rainforests and the organisms that inhabit them from a biologist who conducts research in these forests. Learn not only about these impressive ecosystems, but also about how scientists study them. Not only will we discuss interesting aspects of rainforests and their organisms, but I will share some of my personal pictures and videos from my time studying animals like jaguars, ant eaters, sloths, monkeys, etc. Each camp day we will have an introduction to the tropical rainforest layer that we will focus on, and learn about some of the organisms representative of each layer. Through this fun and educational camp, learners will emerge with a deeper understanding of tropical rainforests, their organisms, conservation concerns, and how scientists study these wonderful ecosystems.

Introduction to class; Underground the rainforest
In this class we will get an introduction tropical rainforests, where they are found globally, and what are their general characteristics. Lección 2:
Forest floor
Today's lesson will move above-ground, as we learn about the characteristics of the rainforest's forest floor. We will also learn about some of the organisms found here such as jaguars, tapirs, and poison dart frogs. 30 minutos de lección en vivo en línea
Lección 3:
Understory
As we keep moving up through the layer's of topical rainforests, we will learn about the understory and typical animals we can find here including, tamanduas, red-eyed tree frogs, eyelash pit vipers, and more! 30 minutos de lección en vivo en línea

Emergent/Canopy
In this class we will learn about the emergent and canopy layers of tropical rainforests and some of the organisms we typical animals we find here, including sloths, macaws, and kinkajous. 30 minutos de lección en vivo en línea
