In this ongoing class, we will work to prepare preschoolers for kindergarten.  We will practice letters, letter sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, weather, months of the year, and days of the week.  We will be learning these things in Spanish and English.  We will also have thematic units and many will  go along with the different seasons. Some of these include apples, pumpkins, farm animals, ocean animals, pets, winter animals, and our body. 
We will make friends with each other, learn to take turns, and we will have fun singing songs in both Spanish and English. We will also have story time. Sometimes the books will be completely in English and then repeated in Spanish, and other times, we will read in English and learn key vocabulary from the book in Spanish. I look forward to a fun filled class each and every day.  Each class will have some elements of repetition, just like a regular circle time at school, but each class will have new elements as well.  Some days we will even do letter or color scavenger hunts. We will also have show and tell on Fridays and each day we will incorporate some active exercises.  Each day will be fun and different. This is my favorite class!  We will meet 3 times a week.
Please Note:  If interest is high, we will continue this for the entire semester. 
Also, please note that there will be more English spoken than Spanish, this is not a complete immersion class. This class is good for English speakers who want to learn the basics in both Spanish and English. However, it is also good for Spanish speakers who want to improve their English.
