Week 1Lesson 1A- CVCThis lesson will review the short vowel sound of the letter A. Students will learn the sound that A makes and begin blending two sounds together at a time. They will be guided to read CVC words containing the letter A by blending onset and rime. (c + at = cat)Lesson 2O- CVCThis lesson will review the short vowel sound of the letter O. Students will learn the sound that O makes and begin blending three sounds together at a time using kinesthetic actions. They will be guided to read CVC words containing the letter O by blending all three sounds together.Lesson 3I- CVCThis lesson will review the short vowel sound of the letter I. Students will learn the sound that I makes and continue blending three sounds together. They will be guided to read CVC words containing the letter I by blending all three sounds together.Week 2Lesson 4U- CVCThis lesson will review the short vowel sound of the letter U. Students will learn the sound that U makes and continue blending three sounds together.
