Hello Everyone! I am so excited to continue to help your students explore the guitar. This course is a beginning course and follows the Beginning Guitar Level 1 Boot Camp. Students who have not taken the boot camp prior to this class should know how to play C, G, Am, and F. We will meet for five days for one week for 55 minutes each day. We will first practice rhythm and switch between the different chords, and then play a song that uses the chords we learned. Overview of the schedule: Day#1: Review C, G, Am F. Playing Various pop songs with these chords to practice transitioning. Day #2: Learn Em Chord Day#3: Review all 5 chords, and learn the D chord. Day#4: Learn E major and A Major chords. Bring everything that we learned together full circle, review rhythm, and play pop songs with the chord we learned. Day #5: Play various pop songs using all the chords we learned. Depending on each individual class, students may be able to learn additional chords and material. You will actively be playing the guitar throughout the course. I will check for understanding throughout the lesson. This is a fun class. My teaching style is positive and encouraging. Prior to the class, please try to tune your guitar so that we have enough time to learn as much as we can in the time that we have.
