Students will learn how to draw a stuffed animal beanie boo owl by looking for basic shapes that make up the toy. They will learn how to connect those shapes and how to show different textures by using colored pencils. We will use a plastic cup and coins to help us get perfect circles, but will draw other shapes. Students will learn how to make big circular eyes characteristic of the beanie boo. We will learn how different strokes will change the look of the fur. At the end we will have time to share each child's work. No prior experience is needed for this class. Students will need a plastic cup, a quarter (or other coin), colored pencils, a pencil, paper, and an eraser for this class.
