In each ongoing, weekly, 25 minute class, we will go through 1 or 2 special video editing techniques that you can use towards your videos that you are creating. Students will get the opportunity to request specific things to learn in the class and will also be able to share previous video editing work that has been preapproved by the teacher. These ongoing classes DO NOT build on each other, so students are able to enroll and attend when available. If your learner has ZERO editing experience, there will be a short prerecorded video showing the process of uploading your video and then 3 of the most basic editing tools. This will able to view in the welcome message once you enroll in the class. Here are the editing tips/tricks/tools that will be discussed in this ongoing class. My classes are always growing and I periodically add new content to keep up with the new upgrades of the editing program. Wondershare Filmora is free to download and free to use, but if you continue to use the free version, when you download your video, there will be a large watermark. To get rid of this watermark, you will need to upgrade to a paid subscription. The cost is around $40USD/yr. STUDENTS DO NOT NEED TO HAVE THE PAID VERSION OF FILMORA IN ORDER TO ATTEND THIS CLASS. Wondershare Filmora is a different program than Filmora Go. They are owned by the same company, but the app version of the program is very different and does not always offer the same effects that will be shown in class. Wondershare Filmora will need to be downloaded on a computer that has a Windows or Mac operating system. In my Monday class at 5pm PST, I will be demonstrating Filmora on a computer AND on a mobile device. If you plan on using the app version of Filmora, I recommend enrolling in my Monday 5pm PST class. If your learner is interested in using this class to learn to edit videos for a YouTube channel, please know, YouTube is intended for age 13 and older, however, students younger than 13 are able to create a YouTube channel under a parent's Gmail account and under the supervision of a parent.

Learners are encouraged to have Wondershare Filmora downloaded to their computer before class begins. Please note, if you choose to download this software, I encourage families to click the button that says "free download". This program is free to use, but it will have the brand watermark on the video. I do not encourage families to purchase any software in order to attend an editing class of mine. Feel free to continue to use the free version of this program, even throughout the course, until you are ready to purchase and annual subscription.
