In this course, I will walk through the process of creating a character for the popular role playing game Dungeons & Dragons. I will give an overview of each major step in the process and give the students an opportunity to ask questions as they create their own player character. I will explain how choices made in the character creation process will affect the character's abilities when playing the game and help students optimize their choices for the type of character that they wish to design.

By the end of this session, students will be able to navigate free online D&D character creation software, and be able to create characters of their own.
