This is a half hour class that takes place once a week for 4 weeks.  Students will be given individual instruction based on their skill level and goals.  This is a practical class that is based on teacher demonstration as well as student participation.
Week 1: I will assess the student's current level, and we will work together to outline some specific goals.  Proper posture and breathing techniques will be introduced.
Week 2: The student will have the opportunity to show what they have been practicing, and we will continue to work on breath support.  In this lesson, we will also be introduced to proper vowel formation for singing.  
Week 3:  At this point, the student will be practicing a number of songs they have chosen with my guidance.  For this week, I like to get a sense of how we are progressing with the plans that were set out in week 1.  
Week 4:  This is the final week for this course, so we use our time to review the various techniques covered up to this point a well as introduce some performance techniques that students will find helpful for performances, auditions, etc.

Students will be given specific things to practice each week, and are encouraged to message me if they have any questions outside of class time.
