REQUIRED PREREQUISITE SKILLS: Students should have either already taken my class "Beginner Ukulele Summer Camp - Level 1" OR should be able to reliably perform the chords C, F, and G on the ukulele. In this one-week summer camp, students will build on their pre-existing ukulele skills to learn new notes, songs, and musicianship skills. A TUNED soprano ukulele - Please tune the instrument BEFORE arriving to class each day. I highly recommend that an adult tune the instrument or assist with tuning while young students are learning ukulele. A guide to tuning the instrument will be provided before the camp begins. - Left-handed players: The standard method of playing ukulele works best for right-handed players, but there are ways to adapt the instrument to support left-handed learners. Please contact Teacher Janelle with questions regarding options for left-handed students.
