Orientación para padres
There are a few websites that I use to purchase sheet music from for students.
1. Musicnotes
Musicnotes.com is a website where I get music for pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, and country songs.
2. RCM
RCM stands the Royal Conservatory of Music (https://www.rcmusic.com). I often use this resource to provide age-appropriate classical songs for students. I also use some of their warm ups.
3. The Full Voice Music
The Full Voice Music (https://www.fullvoicemusic.com) is the gold standard for early childhood vocal pedagogy. I use all of their materials in early childhood lessons including songs, sight reading and ear training materials, song studies, and more. This is an invaluable resource for young singers!
None of these websites require an account or any purchases from parents. I simply send students PDFs from these resources in order for students to have the proper learning materials for lessons.

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
I love teaching Outschool classes and being able to connect with people from all over the world!
When not on Outschool I run an in-person voice studio, SMB Lessons (www.smblessons.com). I have taught over 15,000 voice lessons to students of all ages in the last decade. I am a proud member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and have students compete regularly in the NATS Boston and NATS New England singing competitions in the musical theatre, classical, and CCM categories.
My husband and I also run a non-profit theater program known as the Misfit Artist Company where we teach everything from musical theater to opera to Shakespeare (www.misfitartists.org). We are passionate about creating a space for artists of all ages and abilities to belong and feel safe to reach their greatest artistic potential. I have directed and/or music directed roughly roughly 30 productions for young people and it is the crown achievement of my life and career.
I studied Music and Early Childhood Education in undergrad, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education. I have two Master's Degrees, a Master of Arts in Music & Worship and a Master of Education in Community Engagement. I have 5 years experience teaching theater and music at the college level, but my passion is working with young people above all else! I believe it is my calling in life to do so, and I love that I can do so through outschool as well!
