Let's continue our language learning in Beginner Japanese 1 part 2! Students will meet once a week, and by the end of the ten weeks, students will be able to say the date, say the weather, talk about family, and much more! Students will also be exposed to the Japanese hiragana system. They will see the vocabulary in English and Japanese script and romaji (using Roman letters to write Japanese words). Furthermore, they will learn phonetic pronunciation. We will continue our Hiragana learning. In part 2, students will learn to read the hiragana characters from the hiragana chart from row 6 up until the 10th row. There are ten rows in the Hiragana chart, and we will do the last five with a quick review of the first five. Students will also practice writing the hiragana characters. It is vital that students feel welcome and excited about learning. While having fun, we will also practice good classroom etiquette. The class will be interactive, and students will get a chance to speak with one another and do so in an orderly fashion. Let's get ready to learn and have fun!
