Week 1
Lesson 1
𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟏 - 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬
Learners will be presented with the course materials and expectations. Each learner will learn how to introduce one another in French, ask how they are, and count from 0-20 in French. Assignment: Learners will create a video recording of the greetings and numbers learned in the lesson.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐 - 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞
Students will learn numbers 20-59 in French and learn how to tell time. Each student will get a chance to pick a place that they have always wanted to go and learn how to tell time in French. Assignment: Students will create a paper clock to practice telling time.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟑 - 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐭 & 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬
Students will work together learning the numbers from 60-79 in French. Throughout this lesson, students will learn how to recite the alphabet in French through a series of interactive activities and songs. They will also be introduced to different colours and be able to describe objects in French. Students will go on a scavenger hunt in their homes to find the different school supplies learned in class to present at the beginning of the following lesson.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟒 - 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬
Students will learn numbers 80-100 in French, the months, and days in French. Throughout this class, students will learn how to state their birthday in French. Students will be provided a video recording assignment where they recite the numbers, months, and days in French.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟓 - 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬
Students will learn what daily routines are in French through different activities and games. Students will create a video recording assignment discussing what kind of daily routines they do.
 Week 6
Lesson 6
𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟔 - 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 & 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞
Students will learn the names of different foods in French. There will also be a presentation
 Week 7
Lesson 7
𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 & 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Students will learn about family members in French and be able to describe personality characteristics using the verb être. They will also learn the vocabulary for French transportation. Assignment: Students will draw pictures of the family members and label them in French to present at the beginning of the following class. 
 Week 8
Lesson 8
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 
There will be a final presentation that will be in the form of a video project for the students to present on their favourite topic learned throughout the course. There will also be a comprehensive review of the course.
