Dedicated photography mentoring is available for young learners who are just starting their photography journey. Whether they’ve picked up a camera for the first time or have been taking pictures for fun, these sessions are designed to nurture their creativity and build foundational skills in an engaging and supportive way! Mentoring is more than just lessons! With hands-on activities and creative exploration, young photographers will develop confidence in their abilities while discovering how photography connects to their interests and everyday life. I will provide interactive learning experiences, fun challenges, and guided feedback to help them grow in their photography journey. Learners will need the following items for each photography tutoring session: -A Camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or smartphone with manual settings) -Charged Batteries & Memory Card (for cameras) -Notebook & Pen/Pencil (for taking notes) -Editing Software: Adobe Lightroom or similar (must be installed prior to class to practice editing photos during the session) -Optional: A tripod for stability (recommended for long exposure or low-light practice)

My formal education includes a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, where one of my primary focuses was photography.
I currently run a small photography business, specializing in capturing milestones for families, children, and individuals. With over 10 years of experience working with families and 2+ years specializing in newborn photography, I have developed a deep understanding of how to create meaningful and high-quality images.
In addition to my photography business, I am a certified K-8 teacher with experience teaching various subjects, including art and photography. I have worked with children in different educational settings, from classroom instruction to online learning.
