“Be A Star!” is an engaging class that I hope all learners will leave excited to learn more! We will learn some basic techniques for singing in this lesson and the solo part of a song called, "Be A Star"! Learners can also get an idea of what I’m like as a teacher to see if we will be a good fit for future classes. All learners will need for this class is their device, them self, a printed handout and their camera positioned to see their entire body from head to toe while standing. Here is an outline of the class:

- Meet and Greet 
- Stretching the body for singing 
- Breath support for singing 
- Singing warm-ups 
- Learn the Solo to, "Be A Star!" 
- Wrap Up/Goodbye!

TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL CLASS

1. It will be helpful to see the learners' entire body while standing during the class. Learners can begin class sitting in a chair at their device, but will need space to stand and even lay on their back, on the floor for a portion of class. I will be able to offer learners feedback this way during the lesson.

2. Please ensure to have all Materials ready and Handouts printed prior to starting class. This class is moderately paced to allow just the right amount of information and time to learn a song at the end!

3. Ensure learners are in a quiet space or have earphones/buds to allow them to hear the teacher and stay engaged. I will mute the learners when we are singing or if their background is not quiet. Please ensure your learner knows how to un-mute.

4. Only the learner enrolled should be on camera during this class. If an adult needs to help the learner get set up, turn the camera off and once set up you can turn the camera back on. Parents may assist, off camera, during the class if needed.
