Experimento científico 3 en 1: globos y presión de aire

This class is full of scientific excitement as we perform three experiments! Adult supervision is required in this class because we use lit candles for all three experiments. Learners will laugh as our balloons sometimes pop and learn why other times, they don't pop. We will lift our jars up with the balloon after the balloon has been magically sucked into the jar using air pressure. I will often ask learners to answer questions, share ideas, hypotheses and observations. I will provide a one page science journal for adults to print before class begins. The science journal contains our terms for the day, questions, explanations, and a chart for recording hypotheses and observations. 

Learners are not required to participate in the experiment and could simply observe and fill out their science journals instead. If you are planning to participate in the experiment you will need:
• Adult supervision!
• Matches or Lighter
• Candle
• Mason Jar or Glass
• 3-5 Balloons
• A Plate (with a raised rim or a shallow bowl) 
• Food Coloring (Optional)
• Water
