Experiencia de clase
In this course, students will practice making four different breakfast recipes: French Toast, Granola Bars, Pancakes, and a Breakfast Omelet. The students will: -practice following a recipe -practice using kitchen tools to measure ingredients -practice cooking on a stovetop or oven (*Parental supervision is strongly encouraged.) -confidently share their completed recipes with the teacher/class (and their families). *No previous experience is required. - Students will improve their skills as chefs in the kitchen by practicing making breakfast.
I have been cooking and baking with my mom since I was a young girl. My mom, a professional baker, has inspired me to be creative in the kitchen. I now share my love of cooking and baking with my own children (and my family and friends). I am excited to share my love of cooking and baking with other young home chefs as well.
To participate in the live cooking class, students will need to gather materials for the live class each week. Students will receive a list of required ingredients and tools one week before each live class session.
Parents, please be advised of potential hazards: use of a stove/oven, use of sharp kitchen tools, and risk of allergens. Parental guidance is strongly advised.
