I am a Child and Youth Care Practitioner with over 25 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families in a wide variety of settings. My background includes leading and assisting with babysitting, Sunday school programs, youth groups, and summer camps.
I’ve worked one-on-one with children who have special needs, provided counseling support, and offered before- and after-school care both within the school system and now through my licensed home child care program.
As the eldest of five siblings and a father myself, caregiving is both my passion and my everyday life. My professional training is rooted in a holistic, family-centered approach, addressing both the macro and micro dynamics of family life from pre-birth through early adulthood.
I bring a deep understanding of child development, emotional support, and real-world caregiving to every class I teach, with a focus on helping learners grow in confidence, empathy, and responsibility.
