📖 Thinking about babysitting for neighbors, family, or friends? In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of safe and successful babysitting. We'll cover how to build trust with parents, engage with kids of different ages, and handle common challenges with confidence. Requisitos previos
This class assumes you have done your first aid course from a licensed instructor. We will be talking about and referring to things that you will have learned in your first aid course but I will not be teaching first aid in this class.

I am a Child and Youth Care Practitioner with over 25 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families in a wide variety of settings. My background includes leading and assisting with babysitting, Sunday school programs, youth groups, and summer camps.
I’ve worked one-on-one with children who have special needs, provided counseling support, and offered before- and after-school care both within the school system and now through my licensed home child care program.
As the eldest of five siblings and a father myself, caregiving is both my passion and my everyday life. My professional training is rooted in a holistic, family-centered approach, addressing both the macro and micro dynamics of family life from pre-birth through early adulthood.
