Welcome to the Award Winners Ongoing Book Club for Tweens 🤓 (9-12)! In this club, your child will have the opportunity to read and discuss award-winning 🏆books in a fun and engaging format.

I've curated a collection of outstanding Newbery Award-winning 🏆titles that have captured the hearts of readers worldwide. Each book offers a thrilling literary adventure, from heartwarming tales of friendship to epic journeys through magical realms.

During our bi-weekly meetings, your child 🤓 will join other book enthusiasts in lively discussions about the characters, settings, and themes of these beloved stories. It's a fantastic chance for them to share their favorite moments, exchange ideas, and develop their love for reading.

So, if you have a tween 🤓who loves to read and wants to explore the world of Newbery Award-winning books, I invite them to join the Award Winners Ongoing Book Club for Tweens. It's a wonderful way to expand their imagination and discover the joy of reading!

⭐Classes meet every other week to give everyone a chance to read or listen to the book beforehand. This is an ongoing class and learners can pop in anytime. The schedule is listed below.⭐

In each class, we'll summarize what was read, get reactions from readers, ask and answer questions, and reflect on lessons learned or how to apply them to our lives. I may lead and facilitate discussions, however, students will interact with each other in an informal setting to discuss their thoughts and feelings about each book. We'll play Jeopardy-style games, Kahoots, trivia, and more.

⭐Please note that there needs to be at least 2 learners enrolled, if not, the class may be canceled.⭐

I am an avid book reader and know there are others out there like me. I am a former classroom teacher and my favorite classes to teach are literature-based. The books on this list are just some of the titles I feel every child should read and reread. I have Master's in Education and I just love diving into a good book and dissecting it.
