These classes help students build confidence so they carry on a basic American Sign Language conversation with someone who is Deaf. Learn how to greet someone, introduce yourself, ask the other person's name, ask if they are hearing or Deaf, ask additional questions, and say good-bye. Students will learn ASL vocabulary while increasing retention since it is kinesthetic learning. Learn to sign a song in ASL. Students need no prior experience or knowledge. Experience ASL vocabulary through detailed explanations of hand signs and repetition. The first two classes are approximately 5 mins. The final class is 25 minutes. Come sign with me!

I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students over the past 10 years. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga.
