This one-on-one American Sign Language (ASL) class is designed to meet learners exactly where they are—whether they're brand new to ASL or already advanced. Each session is fully customized based on the learner’s goals and interests. We can focus on ASL vocabulary, grammar, conversation skills, fingerspelling, Deaf culture, or ASL history—whatever fits the learner’s journey best. I use a patient and encouraging teaching style focused on building confidence, fluency, and cultural understanding. Because this is a one-on-one class, learners will have frequent interaction and get plenty of direct feedback in real time.

I hold a degree in Marketing with a minor in American Sign Language from Flagler College, a program known for its strong connection to the Deaf community. Over the past four years, I’ve provided one-on-one ASL tutoring to learners of all ages and levels, from young beginners to advanced signers looking to refine their skills. My experience includes both in-person and online settings, allowing me to adapt to different learning styles and goals with flexibility and care.
In addition to my academic background, I’ve participated in Deaf culture events and community activities that have shaped my understanding of ASL beyond the classroom. I have worked extensively with children in both tutoring and educational settings, creating supportive, engaging environments where young learners feel confident to express themselves.
