Charla sobre arte: arte moderno⎜Apto para inglés como segundo idioma⎜En curso⎜De 7 a 13 años

In this ongoing class students will develop their English fluency by identifying the formal qualities of artworks. They will use the language of composition to discuss how visual elements and principles appear and are applied to famous artworks. Learners will be encouraged and supported when responding to the artists' work using the vocabulary and images introduced to them within the lesson. By looking at several works by the same artist, and hearing about the contexts within which they were created, students will also learn about the ideas and intensions behind the artists' work. Your learner will be encouraged to participate. Correct English will be gently reinforced in positive and constructive way. Not only will your learner develop English language speaking skills and vocabulary, they will also learn about the history of art. The schedule can be adapted to learner interests. I am happy to add suggested artworks and movements to the list.
