Arte de abril: Pintura acrílica para principiantes

Join me in this weekly painting class for beginners! This class is great for students with minimal or no experience using acrylic paints on canvas. Intermediate painters also have fun here as they push the limits and explore what can be done with acrylics!

-Each week, we will complete one full acrylic painting using step by step instruction. 

-Topics covered include basic color mixing, blending, textures, creating contrast, brush selection and techniques, and anything else I see the learners in class need or show interest in. 

-I always offer lots of options to change up the inspiration painting so each student has a unique painting they can be proud of. 

-My goal is to provide them with ideas, options, and techniques, but they are in charge of their art. 

-As with most of my classes, I appreciate light conversation between myself and the learners and when appropriate, them with each other. This class is fun and laid back. Students often interact with each other and me, share stories, ideas, and give kind feedback on each others work. 

-Learners are free to ask questions, have steps repeated, or show their paintings in progress for feedback whenever they need to. 

-Showing artwork on screen is completely optional and never forced. Students can participate at their comfort level once seen on camera. They may turn it off or keep it on! I want everyone to feel comfortable to creativity can flow.
