This course reviews each of the 9 periods included in the AP US History Curriculum, focusing on the most important vocabulary and historical thinking skills. At the start of each class, students will receive a study guide to help them organize their notes as we review the material together. Our lesson slides are designed to spark conversation and foster inquiry, ensuring a deep understanding of the subject matter. I emphasize a casual, inquiry-based learning environment where students actively engage with the content. We’ll focus on smart study strategies and enjoy the learning process together! Each class will begin with a brief warm-up question that students will answer individually in the chat as they get settled (opening their notes, logging on, etc.). We’ll then proceed with the lesson, reviewing slides shared live on the screen. Students are expected to take notes, ask questions, and participate in discussions throughout the session. I will also encourage students to share their opinions and respond to questions during the lesson. Weekly study guides will support note-taking, ensuring that by the end of the course, students will have thorough study materials to reference.
