This class will review high school biology and present topics at the AP level as a primer for AP biology. We will delve into the biochemical details of topics covered in all eight units of AP Biology. This class will set up students for a confident and successful year of AP Biology. - Students will come out of this class with a deeper understanding of the basic concepts and more complex biochemistry needed to succeed in AP Biology. Students will have a clear understanding of the chemistry of life, biomolecules, cell and DNA structure and function, genetics and biochemical pathways of cellular energetics.
I have a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology and have been teaching AP Biology for over ten years.
