This class will deal with many difficult topics, including the Holocaust, discrimination, hate, violence, war, and death. We won't read Anne Frank's diary in class, but it is a book I will recommend to students for further reading and it will be mentioned a lot during class. Common Sense Media recommends this book for students ages 11 and up. Please review this book before allowing your children to read it. The Diary of a Young Girl Anne Frank involves descriptions of the Holocaust, discrimination, hate, violence, war, being fearful of death, puberty, and sexuality.

I have read extensively about Anne Frank, the Holocaust, and World War II.
I also had the opportunity to visit the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. It was a humbling experience that pushed me to learn more about the Holocaust, World War II, and human rights.
This is a sensitive topic. It is important to remember that many people lost their lives and suffered greatly during the Holocaust. It is an important topic to study and to teach. I understand that it is important to be respectful and sensitive when discussing the Holocaust with students.Reseñas
