Classes begin with a short lecture, and a 3-5 minute video (usually paused where vocabulary is written and explained). Lab: Learn the whale's external and internal anatomyLesson 3DolphinsDolphin traits such as their skin and habitats of the pink dolphin A few YouTube videos will be shown in class. Lab: Let's learn the anatomy of the dolphin using diagrams and Play-doh.Lesson 4Seals and WalrusesSeals and Walruses traits and habitats. Compare and contrast lab results using a Venn diagram. You may need an extra pair of hands for this lab. Also, a towel for any spills that may occur.

Having been a Biology teacher for thirty-five years has allowed me to teach students about all kinds of animals and their habitats. Every summer, I offer various animal summer camps for kids. I now want to offer this same experience on Outschool for children around the world.
Day 1 Computer paper, printer ink, markers or crayons, scissors, yarn, a hanger (children's would be perfect but not necessary.) Print the animal template. Day 2 Computer paper (gray or blue is nice but not mandatory), pencil, and a notebook. Day 3 Playdoh or Sketch pad, pencil, color pencils Day 4 Bucket or large bowl, ice, gloves, large ziplock bag, a small can of lard
Please note that the terms mammary glands, penis, sperm, and evolution will be mentioned during this class. Please note that I use videos.
