In this 8-day (Monday-Thursday over 2 weeks) camp, students will be creating their own animal classification book! Each day, we will view slides and pictures to guide our learning about the different classifications. The first day is to introduce classification and to set up our easy-to-make books. The schedule can be found below. The materials needed to create the book are paper and scissors. I'll show learners how to set up the book step-by-step. In each class, we will write the classification name, reminding word, definition and draw a picture in our books. We will have time to work on our picture and add some color! The last class is for a fun review and share class.
