This four sessions course will teach students to understand their anger and anxiety at a deeper level.  Anger and worry are very human feelings that exist to protect us, but sometimes they show up at the wrong times and for the wrong reasons.  
This course goes deep into both emotions, allowing for a clear understanding of anger and anxiety and how to make them both work for you !
Once students complete the course, they will receive two colorful printable journals :
1.  “ ANGER TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE JOURNAL . “  This journal will help your child practice specific techniques to transform their anger and work through thoughts and feelings that lie beneath it.     
2. “ A FEELINGS JOURNAL .”  This journal will help your child name, understand, and react
to emotions.

This is a structured class, but also allows room for flexibility.  Students are encouraged to participate verbally or through chat messages, but it’s not required.  The class atmosphere is relaxing and engaging.  My intention is for students to learn while having fun at the same time !  We will be creating during class our own calming quotes cards,  drawing an anger monster, and calming doodles .   Please make sure your child brings to class white paper, markers and coloring pencils.

GET TO KNOW ANGER
 1. Meet Your Anger - Instead of ignoring the feeling of anger, try to listen to what it’s saying.

2. Anger’s Job - All feelings have a purpose !

3. It’s SO Predictable…. - Anger often shows up at the same times and in the same kinds of situations.

4. Feel Those Feels ! - A key step is getting to know your anger cues.

TRANSFORM ANGER !
 1. Mind the Gap - The challenge is all about minding the gap between your feelings and reactions.

2. From Peas to Pumpkins - The challenge is all about matching pea sized problems and pea sized reaction.

3. Watch for Anger ReRun - Did we see this once already ? 

4. Break the Reactabit - Reaction + Habit = Reactabit

Lección 3:
SHORT-CIRCUITING ANXIETY
 1. Prepare to control the storm - Learn steps you can take to calm your worry feelings.

2. Recognizing the four phases of the Worry Runaround cycle - Anxiety often occurs in cycles that we refer to as the “ worry runaround. “

3. 5Cs : Your weapon against worry - A five step process to help you word your way out of those anxiety producing inaccurate thoughts.

4. Controlling Your Reality - By learning to stay out of thought holes and ending the runaround .

Lección 4:
USING WORRY TO YOUR ADVANTAGE
 1. Making worry work for you - Learn how you can make sure your worry is working for you.

2. Messages from emotions - Emotions let us know when our boundaries are being crossed, when we did something wrong, or when we have a challenge ahead of us.

3. Breaking down worry messages - worry can send us four different kinds of messages, and we’re here with a breakdown of how you can read , and respond to, each type.

4. Sorting through the spam folder - message that aren’t helpful !
