Week 1: Learners will be introduced to the American Sign Language Alphabet. Upon completion of this class, learners will be able to fingerspell their names in American Sign Language.

Week 2: The theme for this week will be "Summer Time Fun." Learners will be introduced to summer time signs, such as summer, beach, sun, hot, vacation, and much more. 

Week 3: The learners will be introduced to numbers, and color signs. After completion of this class, the students will be able to ask one another "What is your favorite color?" in ASL. 

Week 4: Learners will review the signs previously learned. Students will engage in a silent communication activity without voice.

Week 5: The theme for this week is "Around the World." Learners will be introduced to signs for cities, states, and countries around the world. We will engage in voices off signed dialogue about different vacation spots for the summer. 

Week 6: Learners will be introduced to American Sign Language structure, and grammar. Learners will be introduced to common phrases in ASL.

Week 7: Learners will be introduced to signs about different summer time activities and sports such as canoeing, fishing, surfing, swimming and more.

Week 8: Learners will review all signs and concepts learned through-out the duration of the class, and engage in a game of Kahoot!
