We will be discussing what life was like for Kaya, a Nez Peace growing up in America during the early 1760's. While Kaya may be a fictional character, her story is one that many at the time went through. We will briefly discuss what was happening in America at this time and go more in depth about what life would have been like at this time. I will use story-telling along with powerpoint slides and worksheet/activity to engage students.

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Juris Doctor desde Ave Maria School of Law
I have a degree in history from Columbia College and a Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law. I am a homeschooling mom and I love sharing my passion for these topics. Many of my class topics are based off lessons I designed for my child. I want students to realize these subjects are not just in the past, and boring book learning type subjects but are living topics that are interesting and exciting.
I love history and American Girls, I have used this class with my own daughter and she loved it!
