This class will review passages from:
"Romeo and Juliet"
"Twelfth Night"
"Richard III"

The class will begin with a review of learning goals. We will then read each passage outright then discuss how to "scan" passages for inflection by identifying each "foot" of the passage (non-stressed and stressed syllables). We will explore passages that deviate from this rhythm in prose format and determine why the playwright made that choice.
