Nivel Intermediate
Welcome to our 8-week Python Projects Class for intermediate-level students! This course is designed to take your learner's programming skills to the next level by exploring a wide range of exciting applications using Python. Each week, students will dive into a new project that showcases the versatility and power of this popular programming language.
From creating web applications and analyzing data to building games and exploring machine learning, this class offers a comprehensive tour of Python's capabilities. Our hands-on approach ensures that students not only learn new concepts but also apply them to create functional programs. By the end of this course, your learner will have a diverse portfolio of projects and a deeper understanding of how Python can be used to solve real-world problems, setting them up for future success in the world of technology.

The projects in this class are carefully selected to cover various aspects of modern programming. Students will start by building a web scraper to aggregate news headlines, then move on to creating a graphical to-do list application. They'll visualize weather data, develop a personal blog website, and even create a machine learning model to classify flowers. The course also includes practical projects like an automated file organizer and a classic Snake game. Finally, students will work with real-world data by creating a weather forecast app that integrates with a live API. Each project is designed to be both challenging and achievable, providing a sense of accomplishment and a tangible result that students can proudly showcase.

Over 5,000 students from nearly 100 countries across a variety of platforms have started coding in one of my classes. I offer classes covering the foundations of Python and AI. I am the author of the soon-to-be released book All About Python for Kids. Before teaching, I worked as a software developer for nearly 10 years. I've worked for organizations including Apple, Dell, and Best Buy. I believe the best way to learn is by doing and all my classes are based around hands-on projects that progressively build in difficulty. I'm a graduate of Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. I can't wait to meet your learner in the class and get started soon.
