In this Multi-Day Camp, students will practice adding like and unlike fractions while putting them into the simplest form. The teacher will demonstrate how to work on problems. Students will practice working on problems with the teacher. Students will also practice working on problems independently. Students should know how to add like and unlike fractions while putting them into the simplest form and need practice and review. Students should have experience with fractions and with adding. Students who have these skills could do well in this class. Fractions are in our everyday life so let's have fun practicing adding like and unlike fractions. Things to be covered: Day 1- Adding Like Fractions Day 2- Adding Unlike Fractions Day 3- Putting Fractions into Simplest Form

Hello everyone! Welcome to Outschool!
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you! I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too. I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online. When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person. My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups. I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License. I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also. My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways. I love to have fun while learning! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.Reseñas
