En este curso, los estudiantes practicarán una de las habilidades fundamentales utilizadas en Álgebra I, aplicando el orden de las operaciones. A los estudiantes se les presentará el mnemotécnico "GEMDAS", que se utiliza para simplificar expresiones matemáticas.

This class will focus on one of the foundation skills used in Algebra. The agenda for my class will be as followed: -Review of operations and the various forms they will be seen in mathematical expressions. -Introduce "GEMDAS" (Grouping Symbols, Exponents & Radicals, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction) -Simplify expressions by applying the order of operations. Solving the expressions will be done by the method of "I Do", "We Do", "You Do". What this means is the teacher will work...

I was a Special Education teacher for 9 years. During my time as a Special Education teacher, I supported students in 6th-12th grade math. Additionally, I taught Algebra I for 3 years.
