Orientación para padres
Since US History can often times be violent and uncomfortable, parental guidance is suggested. Some of our Founding documents such as the Declaration of Independence as well as other primary sources may contain language that today would be offensive. Please be conscious of this fact.

This class will use primary sources. As you know, sources from the past often use language considered to be racist slurs today. I am a History teacher who teaches and tutors in Advanced Placement US History as well as teaching regular American History and Civics courses. I use reputable sources such as SHEG and Gilder Lehrman and even resources from Teaching Tolerance where appropriate. I teach at a culturally responsive school and have experience working with multiple student populations.
