Ready to fall in love with painting? Students will follow along step by step as I paint every detail right in front of them. I will demonstrate how the paint colors work together and layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember techniques that they can use in their own artwork. If they choose, students can always share their masterpiece at the end of the class. (This is never required) It's really exciting to see how proud they are of their work. Watch as they improve with each painting they create! ------------------ To practice skills, I offer 40+ , fun painting classes on Outschool. I strive to upload a few NEW paintings each month! Hello!! Go ahead and place out your paint colors on your plate BEFORE entering the waiting/classroom. PANDA ACRYLIC Acrylic Craft paints dry quickly but feel free to use whatever acrylics you have. White Yellow Green Blue or tourqoise Black • 11x14 surface such as Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper/wood *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller . This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. • SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, synthetic bristles please) • 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush •Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) with a point or flat /angled brush • Small Detail brush with a nice point. • 2 Bowls of water •EXTRA paper towels •Paper plate for paints and one for mixing. SETTING UP YOUR PAINT STATION: Long hair should be tied back Paint flat on a protected table surface. Please position ALL supplies on SAME SIDE of table NEXT TO the hand you paint with . Computer/device to be faced directly ahead for head on viewing of student and painting.
