In this on-going class, students will learn how to pronounce all of the letters in the French alphabet through voice variation and repetition. Each week we will focus on 3-4 letters and new French vocabulary words.  Incorporating a fun hands-on activity provides an opportunity for the student to be creative all while learning new French words. 

This is a beginner level French class and extremely introductory so no prior French knowledge is needed. Please note that some instructions will be given in English.

Students will have the opportunity to learn and identify basic greetings & simple words in French. Class will begin with introductions. We will start by learning basic greetings so that the students can introduce themselves in French. We will then jump into a powerpoint presentation where students will be introduced to the 3-4 different letters through pictures and visuals. This will involve a lot of student interaction through speaking & repetition.

Once we have introduced the letters we will then start our worksheet activity! I will provide a worksheet where we will write each of the letters learned along with the associated vocabulary words. If given the time, we will also color in the worksheet. This will give the student an opportunity to learn colors in French as well.

Students will come prepared with the printed worksheet which I will provide,  and their own crayons or markers and ready to learn and have fun! Students are also encouraged to repeat the names of the letters and vocabulary words in French as they are working on their worksheet throughout the class.  Repetition for language learning is essential and will play a huge role in this class. Learning a new language can be overwhelming for new learners, the purpose of this class is to make language learning fun, in a relaxed & creative atmosphere so that students can be comfortable all while learning French.

October 7- we will focus on letters E-H
Oct 14- we will focus on letters I-L
Oct 21- we will focus on letters we will focus on letters M-P
Oct 28- we will focus on letters Q-T
November 4- We will focus on letters U-Z
*** This course will then start from the beginning learning letters A-D on WEEK of Nov 11***
