It is greatly encouraged for a student to bring a character with them (bonus points if the character has a character sheet on DND Beyond!) and to share it in the first few minutes of class. However, if they don't have one, DND Beyond has a list of premade characters: https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/premadeExperiencia de clase

Welcome to a unique one-session Dungeons and Dragons adventure for ages 10-14, where students will explore problem-solving, teamwork, and puzzles. They'll engage in interactive activities, challenges, and lively discussions, collaborating with peers to conquer quests. No prior experience or knowledge is needed, as this session is friendly for beginners and advanced alike. We will kick off the first 10 minutes of class by sharing characters. Students can bring their own (highly recommended!) or they can select one of DND Beyond's premade characters (https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/premade). I will be in the meeting 15 minutes before the session to help any student out with their character.

Orientación para padres
Dungeons and Dragons is an open-world scenario in which students may choose to battle, avoid, or even befriend monsters. If there is any concern about this, please reach out to me and I will be happy to accommodate any concerns regarding this (e.g., instead of monsters, students will only have to problem-solve in non-combat scenarios.)
Lista de útiles escolares
Pen and paper to write down notes about their character and important things to remember about the adventure.
